Martins Industries has a new Plant
New Factory
Martins
Industries’ Montreal (Farnham) plant is
42 000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility,
newly equipped
with CNC and automated press brake, cutting saw, Motoman robotic
welders,
welding machines and powder coating paint line.
New equipment
We have added two dedicated
working cells for
research and development of new products, prototyping and fabrication
of 1 to
10 units orders. With these working cells and a wide range of steel
inventory,
we can build your prototype very quickly. Our production capacity
ranges from
20 to 100 units a day depending on the complexity of the rack. The
painting of
racks, carts or displays is done in-house with our new powder coating
equipment.
Martins Industries also acquired a new welding robot, Motoman 7-axis, used for project of 100 units and more and also for assembling our standard tire rack products such as the Passenger and Light Truck Folding Rack (#MLTFD).
Certified
Our
tire rack manufacturing plant is also certified by
the Canadian
Welding
Bureau (CWB CSA
W47.1).
This certification mainly regulates the quality of our steel, metal
filler, gas
and equipment such as the welding equipment. All supplies and equipment
used throughout
the manufacturing process are of top quality and certified by the CWB
organization.
Martins Industries can
design and customize
racks and displays to your specifications. We have 3 full time
mechanical and
industrial engineers working with 3D and 2D drawings such as Solid Edge
and
AutoCad. We are also able to import/export any 3D drawings to meet your
requirements. Our experience in this field enables us to come up with a
great
product from your sketch, one of your part, or even just an idea. We will analyse your need
and come out with a
great rack, container or cart to fulfill your custom needs.
